Development service and access
Nearer is an invitation-only development service for team work tracking. Access requires an authorized Google account and relevant project membership. There is currently no paid subscription or public signup. Features, limits and availability may change during development.
Account responsibility
Use your own authorized account, protect access to it and do not share sessions or invitations with unauthorized people. Provide accurate account information and notify your workspace administrator of suspected unauthorized access. Administrators determine project membership and roles.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and within your authorization. Do not upload content you lack permission to use, disclose another person's confidential information without authority, introduce malicious files, harass people, bypass access controls, disrupt the service or use it to violate another person's rights. Do not use this development service for safety-critical operations that require guaranteed availability or accuracy.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant the operator permission to host, store, process, display and transmit that content as needed to provide the features you and your workspace configure, including access by authorized members and notification recipients. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy and permissions associated with submitted content.
Project administrators may control shared content and access. Authored comments, tickets and audit history can remain part of the workspace after membership ends, subject to applicable law and the privacy policy.
Integrations and external providers
Google, Cloudflare and GitHub operate their own services under separate terms. Administrators are responsible for authorizing appropriate sender accounts and repositories. Notifications and integration metadata may be delayed, duplicated, unavailable or stale when providers reject requests or authorization expires. Review configured recipients and permissions before enabling integrations.
Changes, suspension and termination
The operator may change features or limits, restrict access, suspend accounts or discontinue the development service when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal obligations or misuse. Where practical, affected users will be informed. Immediate action may be necessary to protect people or systems. Your administrator can also remove your project access.
Backups and availability
Use exports and backups appropriate to your testing needs. A backup export does not include sessions or integration credentials. Restore operations can replace workspace content and require explicit confirmation. Do not rely on a development deployment as the only copy of essential work. No uptime commitment, recovery deadline or support response time is offered.
Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the development service is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from errors. To that extent, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from development-service use. Nothing in this draft excludes liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy, applicable law and contact
The privacy policy explains current data practices. The intended governing jurisdiction is <placeholder>; mandatory laws and protections continue to apply. Contact details are <placeholder>. Until finalized, invited users should communicate through their workspace administrator.
Changes to these terms
Updated terms will carry a revised effective date. Material commercial terms and completed operator details will be published before a commercial launch; these pages do not introduce billing or a new account-acceptance mechanism.
